PR Manager
We are looking for a PR manager who will be tasked with driving external communication and publication relating to Reveal Beauty’s purpose, programs and organization’s brand awareness. This may include and not limited to digital communication, social, website, articles, editorial content, partner communication as they relate to sponsorship, donations, publicizing upcoming events, programs and fundraising events.
Overall Requirements:
Time Commitment: 5 - 7 hours per week leading up to an event, generally 7 - 10 hours a month total

Job Description:
Be part of a greater team, helping to build out external communication guidelines and positioning of Reveal Beauty’s brand and purpose
Support positioning across channels this includes website, social channels, co-branding with partners, publications and ability to maintain the brand’s integrity / brand positioning
Work closely with Reveal’s Marketing and Social Media team members
Ensures that all forms of communication go out in a manner consistent with Reveal Beauty’s purpose, brand guidelines and positioning guidelines
Review the existing PR plan, optimize / edit based on best practices, suggestions and strengthening Reveal Beauty’s brand presence; PR strategies will increase awareness, sponsorship, partnerships with global brands and non profit organizations along with driving volunteer recruitment, event participation and expansion into new cities (Austin + LA)
Edit and monitor website and editorial content for the website + with publications
Develop PR materials pre- and post-event (press releases, articles, press kit, work with marketing when creating external marketing collateral e.g., fact sheet)
Send out press materials to media and publication partners
Cultivate relationships with media to garner new supporters and build upon existing ones
Handle incoming media requests and develop reactive statements as necessary
Maintain and update list of traditional and digital media list
Work with social media team to identify and develop digital influencer relationships; help design social media posts. Help ensure our posts represent the brand and promote Reveal events
