Workshops Manager
We are looking for a Workshops Manager who will be tasked with supporting the Workshops team in coordinating, executing and supporting Reveal Beauty’s monthly workshops, executing against a Workshops Program Strategy offering professional and self care development for survivors at local selected domestic violence and sex trafficking organizations.
Overall Requirements:
Time Commitment: generally 8 - 12 hours a month

Has a ‘doer’ mentality, team oriented, proactive and has a willingness to learn, ability to be proactive, plan and manage expectations
Has experience in coordinating, planning and carrying out programs and events
Quick and responsive, ability to plan out needs
Enjoys planning out details, networking, instilling trust with volunteers and working with teams to deliver on planned events and programs
Assists the Workshop Director to align workshop program execution to the Workshops Strategy
Preferably has a background in program / event planning and coordination
Job Description:
Be part of a greater team, helping to execute against Reveal Beauty’s Workshop Strategy and Program focused on creating intimate, positive and empowering experiences for survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking
The position will be tasked to coordinate workshop logistics between Reveal volunteers with existing + new domestic violence and sex trafficking organizations with key focus on planning/executing/joining monthly professional development and self care workshops with the corresponding shelters; themes of workshops and programs are reinforce healing, celebration, worth and love
Key themes for the workshops will be professional development and self care, this includes training, tools and support for resume writing, interviewing skills, presentation and personal branding, sessions that promote health & well being, beauty and fashion
The goal is to ensure frequent communication and coordination of these workshops with each respective shelter partner, this would include email notifications, coordinating with volunteers leading corresponding workshop themes/topics and ensuring all related paperwork, marketing communication and notification to the shelters and volunteer leads have been adhered to / delivered upon
Supports the workshop coordination and logistics (scheduling, volunteer coordination, shelter logistics and communication for upcoming workshops / calendar of events)
Requirements: Excellent communicator, organized, responsive. Preferably has a background in event or program planning
